Citizens Planning Academy – Join us September 6, 2017!
Idaho Smart Growth invites you to join us on Wednesday, September 6th for the eighth session of the 2017 Citizens Planning Academy, “CIM, VRT, ITD, ACHD, LHTAC: Navigating the Maze of Transportation.” Kelli Badesheim, executive director of Valley Regional Transit (VRT) will present with ISG’s program coordinator, Elaine Clegg.
Kelli has served as VRT’s director since 2000. She serves on COMPASS’ board (Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho), is president of the board of the Community Transportation Association of Idaho (CTAI) and a founding member of the Treasure Valley Chapter of WTS International, an association dedicated to the advancement of women in the transportation industry.
Elaine has served on Boise City’s Council since 2004. She serves on COMPASS and VRT boards, and is Past President of the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations and Transportation for America (T4Amercia) Advisory Committee. Elaine has worked on transportation issues from safe routes to school to funding for transit since the late ’90s.

Where: University of Idaho College of Law in the Idaho Law Learning Center (514 W. Jefferson Street, Room 136 on the ground floor). Please use the eastern entrance, the room is the second door on the left after entering the building on this side. Parking is available behind the building on the eastern side in the spots marks “visitor.”
