About the Presenters:
Chris Blanchard manages sales and marketing for indieDwell. He earned a Ph.D. in Urban Studies from Portland State University and has written widely on planning issues in the west.
He spent 12 years at Boise State University most recently directing an environmental research group for the EPA, and teaching in the Community and Regional Planning program.
Bud Compher is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Real Estate Development for NeighborWorks® Boise, which develops “Pocket Neighborhood™” projects on infill sites for compact, single family homes with Energy Star Certified ratings with shared common areas.
He has 30 years of construction experience, including 24 years of direct project management and 20 years in the nonprofit sector. His diverse experience includes raw land development, advanced construction methods and partnering with local, state and federal housing programs to provide both urban and rural housing options in Idaho.
